The CFA-SRL-PRO3V-CLR (aka RN-SRL-PRO3V-CLR)  is a USB-to-Serial TTL bridge cable with a Translucent Overmold USB-A male connector, having six conductor tinned-leads plus Shield for connection ready purposes, at the opposite end. Each cable is approximately 6 ft in length (1.8m), with a heat-shrink finish treatment. At the core of this cable assembly is the CFA-SRL-PRO3V-DGL (aka RN-SRL-PRO3V-DGL), a USB-to-Serial TTL Bridge Board Module (PCB Assembly) designed to accommodate a quick and easy means to interconnect to devices having TTL level Serial interfaces which
require conversion to USB. The CFA-SRL-PRO3V-CLR cable is assembled with a fixed TTL level of +3.3V, and is RoHS compliant.

Originally designed for and sold as a Roving Networks product RN-SRL-PROV3-CLR, it would then be converted to a Microchip Technology product with the same part number, after Microchip's acquisition of Roving.
This product has been sold through Worldwide Distribution via Mouser, Digikey, Arrow,Newark and Microchip themselves.

The LEDs (Red & Green) can be controlled via Prolific GPIO SDK.

Each cable contains an embedded USB-to-TTL Serial Module within the USB Connector overmold.
